If the room becomes unreadable, choose a brighter boundary instead of forcing certainty from a black area.

Headphones are recommended by the creator, but audio is supporting evidence. A sound can tell you when to inspect a shadow; it cannot prove the location or report category without live instruction. Keep volume comfortable.

If moving or flickering imagery causes discomfort, look away and stop the session. Journal completion and badges are optional goals, not a reason to ignore personal safety.
