Anomalias de objetos de Anomaly Detected

Spot Anomaly Detected object anomalies by comparing position, presence, count, orientation, and silhouettes against stable room anchors.

A misplaced object is one of the anomaly examples named in the official Anomaly Detected description. The public page does not provide a complete object list, so the dependable strategy is to remember relationships: where an item sits, what it touches, which direction it faces, and what empty space normally surrounds it.

Objeto check: compare presence, position, count, orientation, and silhouette in that order. Report only after you can name the normal relationship and the visible change.

Build object anchors

Choose large, stable features before small clutter. Furniture, counters, shelves, doors, and strong wall decorations create a framework for the room. A small item becomes easier to remember when it is “on the left end of the shelf” instead of simply “somewhere near the back.”

Use two relationships for an important object: one horizontal and one vertical. It can be left of a lamp and below a picture, or centered on a table and aligned with a doorway. If one perspective is ambiguous, the second can confirm the displacement.

Do not anchor a room entirely on objects that may themselves change. Include at least one boundary or architectural feature such as a wall edge, window, doorway, or fixed counter. That gives the comparison a stable reference.

Five object questions

  1. Presence: is a familiar item missing, or has a new silhouette appeared in a normally empty space?
  2. Position: is the item still aligned with the same edge, surface, and neighbor?
  3. Count: are there more or fewer repeated items than the baseline supports?
  4. Orientation: does a chair, frame, device, or decoration face a different direction?
  5. Identity: does the object’s shape or visible design differ even though it occupies the same place?

The official wording confirms a misplaced-object example, not every one of these subtypes as report-menu labels. They are observation questions. Use the category names shown by the current game when reporting.

Scan from large to small

Begin each feed in wide view. Check room geometry, large furniture, and empty areas. Next check repeated objects and strong shapes. Finish with the small anchors that genuinely require zoom. This order prevents a tiny uncertain detail from hiding an obvious addition elsewhere.

Use Shift, L2, or double tap to zoom only after selecting the object. Compare its edges with the nearby reference, then restore wide view. On mobile, choose anchors that remain readable without placing a finger over the feature. On controller, release L2 before changing feeds if the current behavior uses a held view.

If an object looks different because of lighting, check the fixture and illuminated surfaces before calling it an object anomaly. The Anomalias de luz guide helps separate a changed item from a changed view of the same item.

Report the exact relationship

A useful internal statement is “Chapter and feed, object, normal relation, changed relation.” For example, “current room, wall frame, normally centered above the table, now offset toward the door.” Use the real labels visible in your session.

CheckStrong evidenceCommon false alarm
PresenceA baseline-empty boundary now contains a distinct form.A shadow or interface element overlaps the space.
PositionTwo stable references show a clear displacement.Camera framing or zoom level changed.
CountRepeated items can be counted in both baseline and current view. One item is hidden by overlap or darkness.
OrientationA visible face or edge points toward a new landmark.Perspective makes the same angle look different.

Select the current room and category shown in the report interface. If the result fails, reassess whether the light or camera view changed instead of the item. Do not submit several object categories rapidly.

Improve object memory between passes

Group objects into small stories: “lamp beside book,” “three seats face table,” or “empty floor under window.” Short relational phrases are easier to rehearse than a list of isolated nouns. Repeat only the anchors, not every decorative detail.

If two rooms contain similar furniture, choose different boundaries. One room can be “chair near left doorway,” while another is “chair beneath wide window.” In co-op, share these exact phrases so the confirmer understands the baseline without taking over the feed.

After a run, replace anchors that caused uncertainty. A good anchor should be visible in the wide frame, stable across normal animation, and easy to name. The Camera Tips guide provides a complete feed rotation.

Journal and chapter tracking

The official badges confirm a Journal 100% goal for each of five chapters, but they do not publish individual object entries. When the live Journal reveals an object anomaly, record its exact chapter, displayed name, room, normal relationship, changed relationship, result, and date.

Do not copy an object entry into every chapter because the visual seems reusable. Confirm each chapter separately. If a later update adds or changes an object, preserve the date on the old observation and recheck the room baseline.

Common object mistakes

  • Memorizing color alone when lighting can alter appearance.
  • Counting small items without confirming overlap.
  • Using a moved object as the room’s only landmark.
  • Comparing two different zoom levels as if framing were identical.
  • Reporting a shadowed object before checking light behavior.
  • Treating one community screenshot as proof of a current chapter entry.

Recover by returning to a wide, clean baseline and choosing two stable references. Objeto anomalies become much easier when their location is a relationship rather than a vague memory.

Frequently asked questions

Are misplaced objects official?

Yes. The creator names a misplaced object as an example in the Experience description.

Does every object change use one report label?

The public description does not publish the menu taxonomy. Use the exact labels in the current game.

What should I zoom first?

Zoom the object whose position, count, orientation, or identity is uncertain, and compare it with a stable nearby edge.
